Seemingly the almost enemies

Yes, those are my worst enemies....'seemingly (and it's tenses)' and 'almost'. I over use them wwwwaaayy too much. And Dragon (those who do not know, Dragon is my editor (she is a very nice person)) has to correct me every single time!!!

Let me give you a few examples:

• It was seemed as if the man was angry at the woman.
• Jo jogged up the stairs almost looking like a kangaroo jumping up on rocks.
• With a almost seemingly (Woah! double punch!) grizzly-like pace Jo lumbered away.
• (real example) The bare and beaten down wood boards made up the floor and it seemed that every other one sticking up at least an inch.
• Rebecca seemed happy that she had hugged Jo, though Jo seemingly had other thoughts. Jo almost push her away seemingly undecided about the matter of the hugging woman. Although Rebecca seemed happy that happiness disappeared almost seemingly as fast a water down a pipe!

In three sentences I used my enemies 6 times. Funny, isn't it? Know you have the seemingly almost invisible disease! LOL Watch it now my friends! You may seem to write with an almost gentle pressure to write those words! But beware! It seems an almost impossible thing to break!

Connecting the Dots

I know...I know...I haven't been updating...

You know I'm skipping breakfast to write this? LOL, Yes I am busy. (don't forget my stomach is hungry). I was going to post this big long nice post with my drawings and stuff about The 9th Race but you guys haven't seemed to connect the dots...just yet. Maybe next week...I'll do it.

yeah...that's probably it. Project Monster. All that I will tell you is that I looked at the first three pages of the plot and and ripped out 5 chapters and compacted several more and it is still huge. It will need more work, I haven't even cut to the real chase yet, with 36 chapters plotted out!

Swann is MAD

Yeah..well. I am sure some of the people that are reading my blog has read the latest chapter is my story. Again, then if you are said person then, you read the last sentence. Again may I add that you did not realize that I spent a whole hour on that sentence! >.< Yes I really did spend an hour.

I was fighting cliche (of course). I couldn't come up with something that I liked. So I brainstormed...these are the sentences that didn't made the cut.

Base: “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but

1. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but now it’s my turn, and I will be prepared for your little fairy friends.”

2. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but now, I will defeat you.”

3. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but I am going to win this game that you seem to play.”

4. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but in round two, you are going to be the one who is defeated.”

5. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but, now it’s my turn and I will be prepared for you and your little fairy friends.”

6. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but MUAHAHAHAH!” :)

7. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but..but today is round two and I will be playing straight out. No more misses nice.”

8. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but today is different. Today I will have you once again you cursed dragon. And this time I will be prepared for your little fairy friends.” (this is in the story)

9. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but now I’ll get you and reveal you to the world.”

10. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but now I have to go make brownies.”

11. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but today is going to be different. Today I am going to win and you aren’t going to be able to stop me.”

12. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but now I will hunt you down and make you grovel at my feet.”

13. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but now I will hunt you down and make you grovel at my feet, dragon, begging for mercy.”

14. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but now I know about your little fairy friends, and now they won’t be able to help you.”

15. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but now I know your little secret and in round two…I will win.”

16. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but I will not hold any mercy towards you.”

17. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but, now I know your little secret.”

18. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but right now I think I’ll go to the beach.”

19. “You…” she hissed her eyes hot with fire. “You won round one, but in round two I will stand victorious.”

My mind goes to strange places. O.o Much of it is out of character for Swann but I needed to brainstorm.

Thanks! I really like Herodes's name as well! An eye is a good one but it's really...a SHADOW! :D I also really like the name Haroe. It was in the running for being in the poll but there were too many other good names that I liked!

Screaming

I woke up to the sound of geese screaming on our roof, a very nice sound to be woken up to...at 6 in the morning. >.< *sigh* ah well...they were on my neighbor's neighbor's roof two days ago. they must be making the rounds. :D

Ghost (the Triop) is good. It said you could put raw carrots in his diet so I took a knife and spent ten minutes shaving down a into Triop sized pieces. I dumped them in there and he zoomed over to them and started to munch...then he just spit it out and swam away. I was like: You have to be kidding me! Of course he likes the Triop food better than the carrots I slaved over!

Oh yeah, Ghost is about a cm with out the tail and a cm and a half with it. I can see his feet humming along, his three creepy looking eyes and he is darkening in color.

yep that's about it from here!

PS. I will upload the chapter tonight, I am going to be gone all day at class and won;t be able to make the changes that Dragon (yes, he edits and terrifies people) made. Dragon is pretty useful.

No, I won't ignore that! I see what your saying. As you know Swann makes it pretty clear that she doesn't like this geniuses. So I would think that Artemis would try to make it seem like he isn't trying to get it with his "smarts" more or less he was trying to convince her that he wanted to be part of it...maybe...Idk...you know what? I think that is one of my many plot holes! Congrats on finding it!

Midnightwaters: Ah dragons for the 9th Race. I've seen another fanfic using that idea before, and it was...not up to my standards, to say the least, so I was a bit apprehensive when I clicked on your story. But I must say that I'm glad that I did. The plight of the captured dragon is interesting, the banter between Artemis and Holly makes me smile and your first chapter? (or quote, I should say.) Brilliant.

You make me feel all warm and fuzzy with that comment! Seriously you do! *fuzz* I would like to know about the other story...I am very interested to see what they did. I'm glad that you like the bantering (there is more to come), capturing, and the first chapter. The story behind that was...if people would only take one thing from the story it would be that quote. It gets more and more meaningful as the story progresses. It has a special place in my heart. Thus the reason that every time you open my story you see it, I want people to remember it.

You and many others are what keep me going. I have four more chapters to be written before the story is over. I am struggling at the end, the last mile before the race is over. I need to pick an ending, I have two and if I chose one I don't think that I could be able to make a another story unless I worked really hard. The other is...I can't tell you that or else it would ruin the whole ending what ever I chose!

Fire alarms

Hi! It was funny today, I was at my art class and my teacher was fixing a fire alarm that needed a new battery and after she put the battery in she couldn't get it back on. After fifteen minutes I walked over to see what I could do but then she got it. There was some writing on the plastic and I asked her what it said, she replied "I can't read upside down" so I stood there and made it out:

"Do not remove unless power is off"

Viva La Vida At The Grammy

Yeah, I just finished watching The Grammys (sp?) last night. I was busy the real night with some other things. I am sorta turning into a die heart Coldplay fan so when they started playing Viva La Vida, I was more than thrilled. Then the rapper guy jumped in and I broke out in tears. I serous. I started crying.

Then he disappeared and I was more than happy to see him go

Spice is Better....

....which is good....right?

As I just wrote Spice (or Molly as we are starting to call her) is doing better. She isn't sneezing as much and isn't laying around as much, this a good thing. The problem is this: What do you do when your not laying around day in and day out? You PLAY! PLAY! PLAY!

She has so much energy! This morning when I was half asleep she practically broke down the baby gate that held her back from the rest of the house. She started chewing on wires, she started attacking people's legs, she escaped into the garage that was in 10 degrees, she started running like crazy, eating dust balls, running into windows, and other bouncy kitten things, this is all good...right?

Yes, it is, just not when your half asleep.

Holidays+Christmas Break=Artisticness

Hi Everybody!

I am back (only for moment) and I have the whole day myself. So I am sitting around doing things...that equal nothing....So far I have wasted the break doing...

1. Making up bad horrid poems
2. Writing snips of storys before throwing them in the trash
3. Making Dragons out of foil (quite cool)
4. Taking pictures of squirrels with my new camera I got for Christmas (OMG my Mom and Dad are soo cool)
5. Playing new additive DS game
6. Watching old movies
7. Listening to Snowpatrol & Coldplay
8. Procrastinating doing my yearly change of passwords to everything
9. Yakking my head off with my friend (Skysong)
10. Making up random ideas
11. Bugging everybody like crazy
12. Watching it snow
13. Cooking cookies for family
14. Complaining about how cold it is (It's like 1 degree out there)
15. Reading books
16. Looking at pictures on Deviant art
17. Reading web comics

The Grinch of My Old Neighborhood...

I was about 10 years old and with my friend and we made a snowman. It was set up in the front yard and you know it was jolly and everything, it even had a hat! So my cute white snow man was just sitting in the yard when a woman (that lived in near us) and her dog walked by.

She let her dog PEE on MY SNOWMAN! A 10 year old's snowman!That's as low as you can get on the Holiday Spirit chart. Right next to giving coal. My Mom went out there and talked to the woman. It's safe to say that the woman was never seen near my snowman again.

So that Christmas I had to look at a snowman with a large yellow spot on it.

Brass Dragon Drawing

Again I worked on ANOTHER dragon drawing, this one is of a Brass Dragon (my fav). I just realized that I haven't really given any details or anything of the dragons...So, I will now!

Brass Dragons are talkive and with talk to anybody for hours (if they will listen that long). They breath fire , they live in the dessert and they typically live to 2,000 years old.

Silver Dragons are kind and helpful. They go around and do good deeds. Simply put, they are the "paldins" of the dragon world. They breath out frost, live in the mountains and live to about 3,000 years.

Blue Dragon are vain and cruel. They wish others harm are very tough. They spit out lighting, also live in the dessert and live to 2,000 years old.

*sniff* That rock smells weird

I was studying and my friend (Wildheart) and someone else were doing a study course. Wildheart was helping him with something, they were looking at rocks and trying to find out what they were.

One of the ways to tell what kind of rock it is...you guessed it...smelling it! So, while I was reading something for my school the whole time they were doing this...

*sniff*

"Oh, this smells funny."

*sniff*

"That rock smelling oily."

*sniff*

"NASTY! That rock smells rotten."

*sniff*

"That smells really weird."

*sniff*

"That rock smells like a rock"

It took alot of my willpower not to laugh
